Mostly among the successful people you will hear their boastful (sometimes humble) stories of being self-made. Are they actually?
As a human being we are the weakest species among the Animal Kingdom, we need tender raising by our parents and the society we live in. Like other animals, we can’t even stand on our own legs after the birth we take years and lots of help for crawling (i.e. Frankenstein walk), while the Giraffe babies are kicked by their mothers to stand up and start walking and running to safeguard their life, cause jungle is not the safe place for the weak.
As we grow up, we need to be spoon fed, while other counterparts of us find their own food and feed themselves. We need to be educated and skilled to earn ourselves a livelihood. We don’t even learn things easily; a lot of efforts are put by our parents to teach us. Well, we do have bigger cranial capacity than other animals, may be that’s the reason we become physically weak, as Yuval Novah Harari in his book ‘Sapians’ writes that our brain uses almost 25% of total bodily energy even while we are resting.
Well, we consider ourselves as the best among animals because of bigger brain size, while consider others inferior because they can’t think, express or innovate like up, but we always forget that we didn’t survive on our own like other animals. If you think for a while you will realize, without the surviving skills all your talents, capabilities and skills are waste. So, definitely we can’t boast that we are the best species.
Let’s move on among human counterparts, are you really better than others who are unsuccessful or less educated than you? Well, in my opinion, the unequivocal answer is “NO.”
Why? Because you had proper nutritious food and best education available to you when you were a toddler. As some reaseachers claim, the longer the person is the smarter the person is. Why? Because that person was saved from malnutrition which prevented stunting or wasting types of growth, kept the body healthy so that the brain can develop properly. Nutritious food is very essential for a person to exploit their full potential, even psychologists say that a kids personality gets defined in the first year of upbringing. The level of success a kid can achieve is get defined in the very first year. A kid needs love and tenderness, but this luxury is not available to nearly 95% kids of the world, because of poverty and unavailability of parents to raise their kids because they are busy working and securing the food for their own survival on daily basis.
So, my dear friend be humble and generous towards the less advantaged and downtrodden. Don’t you dare to compare that you are the best or more worthy and talented than others who didn’t had proper resources and whose parents fought abject poverty and barely just survived and served you as labours.
Have respect for others and everyone.
thanks… might add more of my thoughts in future so stay tuned
